Did Ike Turner (who passed away yesterday at the age of 76) create the first rock 'n' roll record, "Rocket 88," in 1951 which used distorted guitar?

So they say....I guess the answer is yes!!! "Rocket 88" was definetly an influence on early Rock'n Roll. It was one of the first. Depending on your references.
