He looks like Gregory Abbott

He's good, but still young, so let's wait and see. Obvious influences Sting, M.J., James Brown.

This guy has some fairly credible stuff. But not much. However he does have one essential song which could give him a boost. However he did play well at the Super Bowl this year. His sound is also very distinct. So I say give hi time. It's very likely that we will still know his name in 10 years. His music has longevity. I say give him time

Saw this young man close the Grant Stage at Lollapalooza on a hot Friday night. Huge crowd, must have been 90,000 there. I was 15 rows back center, getting squished.

Very tight, choreographed set. He's a fine dancer. Not as good as Michael, IMO, but very good. Had a great band backing him.

Usually just sang, but did pickup the guitar & was just strumming at first & I'm thinking it's sort of a prop. Then he comes out with an Eddie Van Halen style solo. He can play the guitar! Also played a long piece on the piano. Crowd ate it up.

Damn this man is very good. Highly influential songs and a cultural point of reference for pushing old sound into the modern times (Amy Whitehouse, etc). Big inspiration, given his mixed cultural heritage, for giving Latinos and Asians a counterpoint on what pop music from these rarely listened to and mostly relegated in smaller categories groups a definition of what pop music from their cultural background should be. Wish he would touch and experiment with these sounds of his heritage in the future.

The amount of love he shows to Black music with his great live performances is astounding, and these are all great music! Immortal songs like Uptown Funk, Marry You, When I Was Your Man, Locked Out of Heaven, That's What I Like, Just The Way You Are, Grenade, even The Lazy Song, have merit.
