Cornell's voice is shot to hell, Morello can go to hell for preaching Chomsky at me while signed to Sony, and the band just makes the most mediocre things possible. They must be trying to be this nondescript and average.

Even though i love rage against the machine. I don't think they deserve an induction. The only good point in inducting them would be that morello would be there twice

Both Soundgarden and Rage are solid picks, but Audioslave has yet to make an album where I can listen straight through from the first track to the last. First album was good, but we didn't really need a second album, much less a third.

Honestly i dont think they will. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE 'slave. But after Rage AND Soundgarden get inducted in i dont think they would do it again. I hope they do.. but im just sayin'. And also who thinks that both "Arm the Homeless" and "Soul Power" will be put in the hall of fame once Tom decides its ok? I definately do. At least ATH because Tom had so much customization done.

Again, I'm going to have to ask you all to shut the hell up. You're not looking at the real idea here. #### your opinions. Hell, I don't even like them. Look, the fact is, Audioslave is a group of talented, intelligent individuals whose songwriting skill and performance level have matured beyond any of today's modern bands. They craft classic Rock and Roll songs and meld them with experimental aspects and Pop rock and metal. Sure, you may not like their sound or opinions, but yours are equally stupid and worthless. So give them credit for what they deserve and shut the hell up.
Three mediocre albums does not a Hall of Fame career make.

Wow. 2027 is just chock full of things to say no to. I see about three or four good bands on that entire list that might have a shot by that time provided they influence some other bands, but damn...What a laundry list of crap.

I personally love Audioslave, but they were no where near as good as Soundgarden or Rage, but I think they may make it just because the fact that they're way better than any other band on the list for 2027

The best bands on the 2027 list are probably Iron and Wine, The Fall of Troy, and LCD Soundsystem. They're all pretty innovative and likely to keep it up, but it's too early to say if they'll have more influence by then. Audioslave, however, has no innovation. You can tell that Chris really commandeered most of the songwriting because everything just sounds like a watered-down version of Soundgarden nearly two decades too late.

There's absolutely no chance now since Chris has left the band...RATM will be in instantly...SG...well, they'll have to wait first for Nirvana and Pearl Jam to get in, but it may take a long time for SG and AIC to get in. Audioslave had some potential, but they really needed more albums.

Audioslave should definately be in the Hall. Tom Morello is a genius. RATM and Audioslave should both be in. If not then Tom Morello should get something for his kool style of guitar playing.

So they're slaves to audio?

Well, there's not that much good on TV these days.....

I'm confused. Are there two different Jokers or what?

No reason for them to get back together, and while they were a great band they broke no new ground at all. I'll overlook any potential influence as all of them will likely be in with their original bands, so no need for them to go in again.

Soundgarden are still way better than gay Nirvana
