I personally love the band, but little of there work was considered rock... they have there place in the country hall of fame, which in my mind is good enough

Definitly should go in. The fact their country has nothing to with it. Yes to Alabama.

Judging by the voting someone dosen't like Alabama!

I know, right? I don't know where these "no" votes are coming from and I'm wondering if it actually has to do with the band or the state!

(The wiki link does direct you to the latter after all).

What's with all the no votes for Alabama? I demand an investigation! It wouldn't be Black Oak Arkansas fans now, would it?

Got their 20 #1 Hits album. Several great folk-style songs on there. These guys were huge in the 80s. Should be seriously considered (certainly if Conway Twitty, Garth Brooks are considered).

I'm in a hurry to get things done.

I first heard two of their songs almost about a year ago when I was listening to a classic country radio station (the two specific songs were "High Cotten" and "Dixieland Delight"), went and got myself some of their albums. Wonderful stuff, great band.
