Donnie - I do my best to make sure that votes cast after 11 PM Central (12 Midnight Eastern) are only counted if they don't affect the final results of the vote in question. I can't always be available to post at 11 PM and I don't always remember the deadlines until it's too late. The votes in question were counted because they were posted prior to 11 PM Central (I live in Sioux Falls, SD). Your vote that couldn't be counted was posted after 11 PM Central. I hope that you don't decide to quit this project over any misunderstandings or any mistakes that I may have made in the past or will make in the future.

While I agree Cosby would be a great choice as well, I don't know if he would receive enough votes, especially considering the controversy he's generated from the legal trails of the last few years. It would be a damn shame, considering he is one of the best and most influential comedians of the last half-century.

I'm going to third the sentiments of BSLO and Nick here, Donnie. Your contributions to the Projects have been amazing and you've gotten some deserving acts some leeway into our Projects when they likely would have still been waiting. Having you around has been a pleasure, and I don't want to see that go, no matter how long.

I agree with BSLO. I would hate to see you leave too Donnie. On the bright side, at least 90's Electronica got chosen this month, a genre you have lobbied for the better part of two years. It speaks volumes that your vote didn't count yet it was still chosen by the rest of the voters. You have been a critical part of the Projects community since I've been here the last three years. You created the basis for the Artist Vote and have contributed some great songs/albums over the years. Don't let one misunderstanding ruin an otherwise great run in the Album/Song Projects.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but how is it that two people vote past the deadline (11:00 p.m last night), and their votes count, but when I sent in my ballot in the general vote past the deadline, my vote didn't end up counting?

Can we at least be consistent with the rules around here?

That said, my tie-breaker vote/ballot is as follows....

1. Boards of Canada- Roygbiv (1998) (6 pts)
2. The Chemical Brothers- Let Forever Be (1999) (5 pts)
3. Fatboy Slim- Gangster Trippin' (1998) (4 pts)

5. Robert Miles- Children (1996) (2 pts)
6. Pet Shop Boys- Go West (1993) (1 pt)

Granted, I'm in a bad mood today, but this kind of made me even more mad. I'm thinking this might be my last vote around here for awhile. I might need a break from the inconsistency around here.
