Rule changes Votes

1. B. No

2. A. 5 or 6 (I'm voting for 6 obviously beings I'm the one that suggested changing this rule and increasing the amount)

3 B. 3

4. A. The Next January (I agree with Darren), making songs from the previous year eligible approximately one year after their official release is way too complicated to keep track of. Let's just stick with January being the beginning of all eligible songs from the previous year being eligible. Hopefully voters will have the sense to not nominate a song that came out in December or November, or 1-2 months prior and actually nominate songs that have had enough time to become truly definitive songs for 2017).

As for my Genre Vote picks, I need to do more research before submitting a final ballot.

4. A. The next January (IMO, there isn't a feasible way of managing when songs are eligible under this system and changing this rule would cause a massive amount of confusion and hassle with very little benefit, if any)

Steve Z - No, you pick 100 artists from the list of eligible artists. You don't pick the first 100 alphabetically that you think are qualified. If you do that, artists further down the list might not be qualified for the top ten because they don't get enough nominations. Essentially, you're voting for 100 artists and the 25 or so artists that get the most votes are eligible to be in the top ten.
