X Japan needs to be in the hall, they create masterpieces, but never spread to the US. However, in Japan they sparked the entire vk movement.

X Japan definitely deserve a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for many reasons; (1.) They created the VK movement and A LOT of bands in Japan probably would not exist with out them including the very famous GACKT who had Yoshiki (the front man of X Japan) help him for all of his 2000-2010 albums. This would also include bands like Luna Sea, Dir en Grey, L'Arc~En~Ciel, Malice Mizer, and many more! (2.) They influenced power metal (and speed metal) world wide. This would include bands like Iron Mask, Symphony X, Kamelot, Dragonland, and many others. (3.) They changed the culture of an ENTIRE nation. Where it took several bands in America to make cultural influence, it took one in Japan. (4.) They are the Led Zeppelin of Japan. (5.) No other band in the world, or in history, has ever made a perfect fusion of metal and classic. Not to mention that this particular song was 29 minutes long and is regarded in legendary standards. Most bands only dream of being capable of explaining life in one song with out needing the use of lyrics. (6.) Must I go on?
