One of the first to record using a Moog synthesizer, later composed the soundtrack for A Clockwork Orange.

Influence: i'm rather skeptical here, the next wave of electronic artists (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, the earliest synth pop acts) was radically different from Wendy Carlos' work, they created their own rather abstract in places music rather than her re interpretations of classical work. I'm gonna go with a 0 here, the only thing this influenced were novelty reworkings of songs.

Innovation: 30, as tahvo said up there, one of the first to record with a moog.

Critical Respect: I can't find much on this, but by the looks of it she got mild critical respect. 10

Commercial: Switched On bach sold over a million and her soundtrack work will have done well (just guessing, there's not much info on her albums) so i'll give her a 5.

45. Not worth induction, there's just so much more worthy electronic music.

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
