Will Wall of Voodoo be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
"Musical excellence is the essential qualification for induction."

Great song 'Mexican Radio'. Another band that really captures the early 80s new wave sound.

It will be a cold day in Hell if they are ever inducted to Hall.

Wall of Voodoo might be inducted someday. They didn't have a large body of work, but their seminal song, "Mexican Radio" sounds like no other song of the 1980s. Stan Ridgeway still performs, albeit with other players. In fact, two of the original band members have passed away - one in 2000 and the other in 2001.

That might also hinder being inducted, since the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tends to favor groups that have most members still alive; hoping they will reunite and play for their induction.

Wall of Voodoo deserves it; but politics, in the broad sense of that word, may prevent that.

I always liked WOV but I doubt that they are influential enough to get in, there sound was very unique however

I like em, but as I mentioned before Hell will freeze over & gold pigs will fly out my butt before they are inducted.

They don't deserve it, IMO.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
