I could sit here and tell you a hundred reasons why they should be in. Instead I will just ask you to listen to The Crimson Idol, Still not Black Enough, The Headless Children, Unholy Terror just to name a few. Listen and for god sakes read the lyrics.

I have a cd player in my truck , and there are only 2 bands that I play while driving the 2 lane black top, and they are Wasp and Judas Priest. Neither are in the hall of fame, and for some reason I can understand why. The people who run the hall are out of touch with the world and everyone in it.
I haven't listened to the radio in so many years, well mostly because when you live through the 70's , in several different dimensions , most sounds after that have gone way off track.
I hope one day soon, that WASP takes their rightful place in the hall.

W.A.S.P have earned their place in the Hall of Fame several times over, by simply surviving, evolving, and transcending Genres. There's no reason for them to have gone this long without entering while garbage artists who aren't even rock and roll enter. For artistic reference listen to The Crimson Idol , Golgatha or Babylon's Burning..

One of my greatest regrets is not having been born back when they first started to be able to experience it all.

They were always kind of an underground band, so I doubt they will end up in the hall. I love them, however and think they're better than their hair band contemporaries.
