I was a big Rock fan in Los Angeles in the 60's but didn't hear Tim Buckley until I went to Europe. In the Canary Islands I was introduced to Tim Buckley's Goodbye and Hello by a lady from Denmark in 1971. It is still one of my favorite albums. I was amazed that I never heard it on the radio or from my friends in LA. Too bad it didn't get the Air Time in deserved.

Tim Buckley is the most underrated musician of all time. He was an innovator who took risks and his writing and incredible vocal tenor range was masterful. His risky Jazz album Starsailor was a highlight of his career. Also Goodbye and Hello was also a great rock folk album. No telling what he could have done had he not overdosed at 28. A must for the Rock and Roll Hall. RIP Tim.
