They are the greatist rock 'n roll band in the world. they should make it in the rock 'n roll hall of fame before any punk or new wave bands.

"They are the greatest rock 'n roll band in the world"

Ever heard of hyperbole Ty W?

Yes, as a matter of fact i have. none the less, i would call them one of the only true rock n' roll bands in the world today.

The Supersuckers have been rocking asses more consistently for 20 years than 99% of any bands out there. This point really should be no debate about it...but I am sure tools like GreenDay and LimpBizkit will get in instead.

"The Supersuckers have been rocking asses more consistently for 20 years than 99% of any bands out there." - Doug

Seriously, how do people come up with this stuff, 99% really? And the Hall doesn't give a sh*t about "working your ass off." Look at the Sex Pistols, one record and done.

Or "rocking asses" which was what Doug actually said. DUH!!

Saw this band play before Toadies at Bogart's in Cinn. Had never heard of them. Given their name, I wasn't expecting much ;-)

Wil say that they impressed me with their high energy, rollicking set. These guys are punk/hard rock, yet when you look at them (except for drummer, he does fit the stereotype), you'd say they were a bluegrass or country-rock act. Their lead singer plays the bass & wears cowboy boots/belt/hat, etc. All 3 of the stringed instrument players were playing the same instrument (bass had longer neck, 4 strings, & two pickups, vs one), a Leo Fender model with natural wood. Unusual (IMO) to see all people playing same thing, as most players have their own personal favorites, etc.

Would definitely recommend this band for a live show. No Hall possibilities at present time.

I'm glad you got to see and enjoy them them, Paul. They always put on a great show. Great, hard working Cow Punk band that's been at it a long time.
