Another one hit wonder you could make a case for. Their big hit was a standard back in the early days of Rock'n'roll.

Gee is a fun tune, but I'm not sure if The Crows' only hit record provides them with a strong enough case for an induction. Gee has been cited by some as being the first rock 'n' roll song, although I'd say there were plenty of songs recorded earlier than Gee that are better contenders for that title. The Crows do deserve credit for the fact that Gee was a crossover hit and did reach #14 on the national U.S. pop charts.

The Crows were one of the earliest doo wop groups, but aside from Gee, they have no other noteworthy* songs. Billy Ward and the Dominoes played a more prominent role in cultivating the doo wop sound. Sadly, none of the members of The Crows managed to their parlay their brief success into solo careers.

*When I say "noteworthy," I mean songs that were significant hits on the radio and/or had immediate/lasting impact. While The Crows cut some other good numbers, Gee will always be their crowning achievement.
