Ted Nugent's first band. Their biggest hits were "Journey to the Centre of the Mind" and "Baby Please Don't Go." These guys are pretty underrated.

I agree, very underrated. I'm a little confused though over what counts as Ted's solo work and the band itself because they had a point when the band was called Ted Nugent & the Amboy Dukes. There are two other great tracks called "Great White Buffalo" and "Hibernation". The Ramones have covered "Journey to the Center of the Mind" and I believe Alice Cooper was also a fan of the Dukes. I'm not sure if they're worthy of the hall, but Ted should definately be inducted sometime soon.

They had another really good song called "You Talk Sunshine, I Breathe Fire." Good guitar work, but in the end, Nugent solo is probably all we'll see inducted.

Fun Fact: Ted was put on James Hetfield's list of acts he wanted to see inducted.

How about the instrumental "Scottish Tea"?

Kind of reminds me of Rory Gallagher. If he's ever inducted it's likely to be solo and not with Taste. Van Morrison was also inducted solo and not with his first band Them.

Can't see them ever getting in, though "Scottish Tea" is an excellent piece of work
