I am the biggest Chris Cornell fan ever, but I personally don't think they will make it, because they only released one album, and only 2 or 3 songs were any good.

My favorites were Say Hello 2 Heaven, Hunger Strike, Pushin' Forward Back, and Reach Down

It's a tribute band. They were never trying to be innovative or influential, just to commemorate the death of Andrew Wood. It's pretty good stuff, but nothing too memorable.

I honestly doubt that they will be inducted because they were a tribute band. Granted from my standpoint they had one of my favorite rock albums of the 90's I mean they had the great duets with "Hunger Strike" and "Pushin' Forward Back", the 9 minute or so guitar solo on "Reach Down", and excellent songwriting from Chris Cornell and Stone Gossard, but while it may have been significant to some people I can't say (to my knowledge) whether they had a great influence on the development of rock music thereafter.
Awesome album though!!!

Temple of the Dog joining the R&R Hall of Fame? I thought this band was supposed to be only a one-off project or something.
