You've never heard of Tammi Terrell...that's a good reason alone for you to stop making comments until you can come up with an intelligent one. You sound like a little kid...!!!

Not more than 3 women in the hall who could outsing her and her influence on Marvin Gaye music can never be downplayed

If This World Were Mine there would never be a day without a Tammi Terrell sitting alive and well on a musical throne like she and her great singing talent deserves. The world would be a happier place.

****Tammi Terrell****

Tammi is not a name that comes up often in connection with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...and it should. Her Motown duets with Marvin Gaye were classics...and she had solo hits too. Hit songs like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Your Precious Love","Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing", "You're All I Need To Get By", "If This World Were Mine","If I Could Build My Whole World Around You" , and others and spawned numerous cover versions by other artists, such as Diana Ross, Luther Vandross,Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin,Erykah Badu and D'Angelo, Marc Broussard, and others. Her life was been profiled in several books, and on the T.V. series "Unsung" . Her tragic death at the young age of only 24 cut short her massive potential, but she accomplished a lot in a relatively short time. Tammi Terrell should be considered.
