Dude, Yeah. TV on the Radio should get in there, but we have to see how good their next albums are. Dear Science was amazing, I was just, amazed when i popped it in for the first time. If they keep this up, they should get huge, sell out concerts, and still make great music. I say, yeah, TV on the radio will make it, but it all depends on their next album.

I'd say TV on the Radio is far and away the best American rock band of the aughts. This decade hasn't inspired much confidence in the stability and promise of newer groups but TV on the Radio have remained consistently stellar throughout the decade. Cookie Mountain and Dear Science rank among the best records of the last ten years.

You can't make a judgement on this just yet but at this point, they and Arcade Fire are among the only acts to debut in the 2000s that deserve close attention.

Hmmmm, The Best rock band of the Aughts for me, is definitely The White Stripes, or Radiohead. TV on the Radio, although, Will probably continue to release phenonmenal records, and soar far and beyond those two bands perhaps. Dear Science is one of my favorite albums, ever. Return to Cookie Mountain i thought was good, but i didn't like it as much.
