He was mostly a country music producer, I'm a bit surprised they inducted him actually

Syd Nathan was the founder/owner of King Records. More than just country music. He was responsible for launching the career of James Brown who he signed to his label. He also signed R&B legends Hank Ballard, Little Willie John, and Bullmoose Jackson
