She deserves to be in. She's one the hardest rocking females that kicked down the doors and paved the way for other female artists like The Runaways, Girlschool, The Donnas and many others.

Suzi Quatro has to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ............... She the first real female Rock'n'Roller ......... Without her there will be no Runaways, Pat Benater, Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde ... and Pink is the Suzi Quatro of today ......
Suzi make new records, travelled around the world with many live concerts ........... so put her in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame .......

I agree - put her in! Does anyone know if there is a youtube clip of Suzi performing Sweet's Ballroom Blitz? Also, does anyone remember if she actually performed this song while doing her guest acting appearance as Leather Tuscaderro on Happy Days?

In the early 70's a small dynamo - clad in leather with a bass guitar launched a very successful attack on the world of music. Produced intially by Mickie Most she ended up with the UK based songwriting hit team of Chinn and Chapman. - he first album - to this day - ( like her second ) will mesmorise listeners. Australia and NZ apparently were her 2 largest markets - per capita.

He rfirst visit saw 3000 people turn up at Tullamarine Airport and a motorcade of bikers. Musically she was noticed within the US abd one day she received a call from - a man from memphis - Elvis Presley - who declared her version of All Shook Up was the best since his own and wished to meet her. I won't write a novel but - she was so huge her she played in Melbourne - 7 shows - breaking the old record of a female performer.

No Morrisette has not done that, Martha Davis , Chrissie Hynde and - she was the forerunner of The Runaways and many more. In terms o f being THE pioneer of female hard rockers she rocked then and even today - she HONESTLY is - one of the absolute few - whos performance has not wained - whos voice is every bit ass fresh as the record - and can still enchant a pair of ears that are used to perfection. She is - The real deal . The original one.

I have to agree here - put the Leather Lady in already!

If the RRHOF wants to put a REAL Rock chick from Detroit in the HOF, then Suzi Quatro is it. She's the ORIGINAL leather-clad, Storm-Trooper Rock chick who's music, look, and icy-hot attitude DEMANDED you take her seriously. Suzi Quatro IS Rock 'n Roll. No "flash-in-the-pan" this gal. She's the real deal, and like the Stones, is still rockin' to this day. She's FAR and ABOVE more deserving to be in the RRHOF than a large percentage of those who've already been inducted. The Leather Queen Lady of R 'n R needs to have her rightful place in the RRHOF.

The first real female rocker... unlike the mere women singers that came before her.
As good today as she was back in 1972 ( with Rolling Stone/Brain Confusion ).
Without her there wouldn't be a Madonna, a Cyndi Lauper, a Joan Jett, a Britney, or a Lady Gaga.
Suzi Quatro was, and remains, the BEST!

Now would someone explain why Patti Smith is in and not Suzi?

Suzi Quatro, is the first Rock & Roll gal. Her performance are first class. Suzi is the woman that made the way for other women to put groups together. Broke the wall and also earned the respect of male rock & roll groups. Elvis, was the King, and Suzi Quatro is the Queen of rock & roll.

I agree with everyone else. If there had been no Suzi Quatro, there would be no Runaways, Joan Jett, Pink, or any other female rocker. The Bangles and the Go-Go's might never have existed, either. She may not have been as famous here, but Quatro's influence is more than obvious. Induct her!

She was the first credible female hard rocker, even before Joan Jett. She definitely deserves a plaque in that museum in Cleveland. Her chances of getting in are decreased by the fact that she was largely ignored in her native USA--- except when she played Leather Tuscadero on Happy Days.

All I can say is she is LONG OVER DUE! Hopefully they will wake up and give Suzi the credit and recognition she deserves! She should have been inducted a long time ago.

I don't understand why Suzi Quatro hasn't been inducted yet. She kicked down the door for other female rockers. Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde, Cherie Curie etc have all cited her as a major influence. Joan was just inducted...why not her idol? It's high time you considered her. Suzi has been rocking for over 50 years now and is still going strong. Come on, induct her already.

she has contributed so much to rock music and is affectionately known as the queen of rock. It's a crime that suzi has been overlooked. She is one of the few living legends. Paul East

I'm bewildered as to WHY it's not happened already! Get your act together R & R Hall. Where would Joan Jett & MANY others be, if not for Suzi paving the way for other women of rock?

Posted by John on Tuesday, 08.18.15 @ 00:33am

Put her in the hall. Been making great music for 50 years.

Suzi was a pioneer in rock music. First lady to pick up an instrument and front a rock band. An inspiration to so many women after her( ex. Joan Jett, pat benatar, ect.) Sold over 50 million records worldwide, and still rocking today.
Suzi Quarto belongs in the Rock'nRoll Hall of Fame.

Suzi,is long over due for this honor!! She should have been put in The Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame a very very long time ago!! If it wasn't for her, there would have been no Girl Bands, especially The Runaways, the Donnas,No Joan Jett,Cherie Curri, and I can just keep going forever,Suzi is the real deal, she broke down so many barriers for women, you need to put the original Leather One in The Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame,Please!!! She is still going strong after 50 years of being in the business, and she is still kicking it on stage!!!!

Suzi was and still is a Michigander at heart. She was given an offer to go to England and have her own band using her given name as well as another offer from a producer her in the states wanting to make her the next Joplin. She made the correct choice unfortunately she was not promoted in her home country. She should have been in the hall of fame long ago. I listened to the speaker for Joan Jett and am ashamed as to how this talented young lady has turned out. But Suzi has held true to Suzi after all these years. She continues to make new music and gigs throughout the year. Rumor has it that there is talk of her bringing her one woman show to Broadway. I have traveled to the UK and Germany to see her preform and it was worth every penny. She is the same today as she was in the 1970's. No need to change perfection. It is pass time for her to have her spot in the hall of fame.

Without Suzi Quatro, the HOF is a travesty.

Suzi Quatro, the very first female Rock Singer. She is the originalone! with no Suzi Quatro is worthy to be in the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame! If Joan Jett has been inducted into, Suzi Quatro should have been there far before!
