Let the debate begin.

No doubt we will have a slew of people deciding (given current events) that Stealer's Wheel is now Hall-worthy. (I won't say myself if I thought they were.)

Rest in peace, Mr. Rafferty.

I'd definitely put "Stuck in the Middle With You" in a Song Hall of Fame.

every time I hear "Stuck in the Middle With You" all i can think about is that scene from Reservoir Dogs where the cop is getting his ear cut off and that is playing on the radio.

Their popularly was only moderate, but I think their sound was unique and more influential of today's alt-rock than anyone would have thought they would be back in their day. Listen to Sheryl Crow's back-up band, for just one example. In the mid-'70s, they didn't quote sound like anybody else, and shouldn't that be what the hall is looking for?

Yes, "Stuck in the Middle with You" is a pretty popular song... their only popular song.
