25 comments so far (post your own)Yes Status Quo are a great band and should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If Bruce Springsteen made it anyone should be able to make it. Even if Springsteen's music was good I wouldn't like it. Posted by fastaire on Saturday, 06/15/2013 @ 13:34pm |
The quo most surely should be in the rock,n,roll hall of fame for theyre tireless didication to british rock through the past decades...they are along with the Who the most iconic ispirational rock band in Britain and loved by our nation. Posted by Ian on Saturday, 01/9/2016 @ 22:55pm |
Of course they should be there. Generations of non-Yanks love them which in itself is a good enough reason. Just because cluelss Seppos don't get them doesn't mean they aren't worthy. Posted by Max Emery on Friday, 04/8/2016 @ 18:25pm |
Those yokels dissing Quo are talking out of their Butt...... Wouldnt know a piledriver if it grew fangs and bit them on the arse.... Posted by ian price on Monday, 04/11/2016 @ 17:12pm |

Quo s popularity in Europe was massive from 1972 until 1986. They had more than 40 hits in the UK but also many rockhits in Europe. In Holland, where I live, their hits What ever you want, down down , etc are well known. They sold millions of records. People put them down as simple or stupid. Before they turned into Spinal Tap, around 1983, they where a top arse kicking rockband. But if you didn't make in the USA, you can't come in to the rock n roll hall of fame. That hall of fame is all politics. F*** them Posted by ruben schortinghuis on Friday, 10/16/2020 @ 04:17am |
These guys are real rock and roll. But the rrhof hasn't been about rock and roll for awhile. Just look at the sh*t that gets in: madonna, radiohead, and a bunch of rap artists. Even though I think they deserve it, I don't think they will be inducted. Posted by Boogie Rock on Sunday, 10/25/2020 @ 22:13pm |
Posted by Digat philippe on Tuesday, 11/10/2020 @ 07:13am |
Something is seriously wrong when a band like this, who have achieved what they have achieved, are not present in the Rock'n'Roll hall of fame. Seriously wrong. Posted by Gus Hewitt on Sunday, 06/13/2021 @ 19:16pm |
I love status quo! Just fun to listen to. Who doesn't like cranking up the volume to don't think it matters! Blam! In your face! All hail the quo! Hall of fame! Posted by Thomas Pschierer on Thursday, 07/1/2021 @ 08:15am |

Dozens of top 20 songs in the UK and elsewhere, opening band at Live Aid, but… in the USA, Staus Quo is still a one hit wonder. Should be, yes. Will be… hmmm. Posted by Bookhouse on Wednesday, 02/22/2023 @ 09:40am |
