Yes, and they should get in there! Tilbrook and Difford have been considered the Lennon-McCartney of New Wave!

It's an absolute travesty that they dont have 50 percent of the vote they are such a great band whose excellent songs went far beyond "Tempted".

If Blondie and the Pretenders are in, so should Squeeze. I think every induction ceremony is becoming an affirmative action exercise (black singer, pop superstar/group, rap, new wave act, 60s pop group). Squeeze will have to wait its turn, hopefully before Difford and Tilbrook die.

I don't think they were absolutely amazing at their peak or have been influencing artists left and right. They're just under the line for me.

I enjoy listening to Squeeze, and saw them live many times back in the day, but with so many other great artists before them still being overlooked, (cough, Small Faces, cough) I can't see them getting inducted any time soon. Or ever for that matter. As much fun as they were, they were far more derivative than they were influential.

I think that Squeeze is one of the most underrated bands of all time. The chemistry between Difford and Tilbrook, the brilliant lyrics and the incredibly catchy melodies make them a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

Paul Carrack was not an original member of Squeeze. He was only with them for three non-consecutive years (1980-1982 and 1994-1995), but he sang the group's biggest hit, "Tempted." I wonder if that will be enough for him to be inducted with Squeeze. I hope so.

Definitely should be inducted in 2017
