You're stupid, they're one of the best bands around today, not to mention one of the most innovative ever. By the way, it's not "dolphin-language", its's called icelandic (except for they're album (), which was in hopelandic so people can make up they're own meanings to the song.) In addition, who else plays the guitar with cello bow (other than Jimmy Page or Eddie Philips).

Well, they're more hall of fame friendly than Godspeed!, and they've been attempting a more pop approach recently, so they've certainly got a chance

I actually wouldn't put them in, to be honest. I don't think they've been particularly influential and their innovation only goes as far as combining lengthy, droney post-rock structures with dreamy shoegazer melodies. That and the fact that they're horribly inconsistent across their discography -- the only album of theirs approaching perfection is Agaetis byrjun, and their latest was crap -- and they're unwarranted arrogance and pretentions, and I'm not exactly keen to have them in the hall.

It depends on how willing the Rock Hall is willing to accept "niche" genres. Post-rock is about as underground as you can get. Sigur Ros is a good choice on paper, but may be too obscure for consideration. It depends on who is nominating and what the committee is looking for.
