He's pretty much all I have listened to for years.

Considering that he's the best songwriter since Dylan, he should be a shoe in. He's a guy that not many people know, but the critics know who writes songs for all the artists out there that can't. Plus his solo stuff as well as whiskeytown and the cardinals are every bit as good as Orbinson was.

While Ryan Adams is probably best known for his cover of Oasis' "Wonderwall", how many artists can take a song, turn it inside out, and have it be considerably better than the original. Ryan Adams is a singer-songwriter with few equals recording today. He belongs with the greats such as Van Morrison, Carole King, Paul Simon, Bernie Taupin, & Billy Joel. I've listened to all of his songs. I wish that everyone appreciated his music for the brilliant way Ryan uses his voice to involve the listener & the genius of his lyrics.
