I challenge any of those voting against Robert Cray to listen to "Smoking Gun" the entire album for that matter and tell me that there is a single song that's not fantastic. Cray's sound is his, the man put his stamp on it, just like Jimi, SRV, BB and JC.

Great guitarist and bluesman, but nothing extraordinary. Of course it helped that he had Eric and Keith behind him. He had a hell of a band including Richard Cousins on bass but then he got too full of himself, let the boys in the band go and no one cared anymore about him. Personally, I don't want to see him in. I knew him and he really wasn't all that. Hey Shawn, are you going to give me shit about this posting as well?

Great blues singer and guitarist. Grreatest song is Times Two. You Cannot vote No on Robert Cray. I wouldnt trade him for Clapton.

Along with SRV, the greatest bluesman to come out of the 80's. Not as flamboyant as Stevie, but he has had a subtly great career. He inducted Howlin' Wolf, so maybe he has a chance.

"Young Bob" as he calls himself should be a sure bet. Not much discussion here about The Robert Cray Band?!! Dude can flat out sang! and guitar artist. First induct SRV, then Robert Cray. Yes. Oh Hell, Yes!
