He won't ever get inducted, but I have always enjoyed his Beatles covers.

Richie Havens embodied the 60s as well as anyone, and made some great music to boot . . . his improvisation of "Motherless Child/Freedom" at Woodstock alone should be enough to induct him . . . won't happen, but I voted Yes! . . .

Please consider Richie Havens. He was a legend. The first performer on stage at Woodstock. He stood fast for peace, justice, a strong and logical voice of protest and a great human being.
