Well, although this seems to be inplausible as they are on your "cold" list. Refused should be in the hall of fame. Even though, they aren't a chart-topping monolith like Nickelback or Fallout Boy currently is, their influence reaches much farther than that. They laid down the groundwork for an entire generation of emo and post-hardocre bands that may not even know that Refused created the sound that influenced their influences. The swedish band's "The Shape of Punk to Come: A Chimerical Bombination in 12 Bursts" actually became the shape of punk to come. Also that record came out over a decade ago and its songs are still seen in public eye now, notably in the recent movie Friday Night Lights. Also considering they have not been an act for a long time, their fans have not forgotten them, as they still debut new t-shirts every year on the Vans Warped Tour and just recently released a DVD "Refused are Fucking Dead". My point here, I guess is that just because their sound hasn't reached every ten to twenty-five year old in America because they played it safe and created a recycled sound, that they knew would score huge on the billboard charts, does not mean that they should be left out of the annals of music history.
