Since the singles category exists now, if they continue it, I'd definitely see "Black Betty" getting in through that door in the near future. However, as performers: Not in a million years.

Ram Jam did not even record Black Betty, Bill's old band Starstruck made the song! If you don't believe me, Bill did an interview 2 years ago for brutality in buddah where he said "Ram Jam did not cut Black Betty". I think Ram Jam shouldn't be in the rock hall, but rather Bill Bartlett himself should be in the rock hall. He was in Tony and the Bandits (who where on Shindig), The Lemon Pipers (#1 hit with Green Tambourine) Starstruck, and of course Ram Jam.
