Is this the Paul Davis that sang "I Go Crazy" and "'65 Love Affair"?

Yes he did sing those songs. Other songs he did you might know are Sweet Life and Cool Love.

Paul Davis wrote incredible songs and sang from his heart. Perhaps the most under-rated Singer-Songwriter ever. He wrote other songs for other artists which went number 1 or top 10 as well as others.
Great songs that never saw the light of day include: He Sang Our Love Songs, Oriental Eyes, Let Me Be The One, Somebody's Getting To You, Mississippi River, Boogie Bogie Woogie Man, Never Want To Lose Your Love I Don't Want To Be Just Another Love, and so many more. He wrote and produced most of his material and deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame.
