Will Patty Smyth be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
"Musical excellence is the essential qualification for induction."

She's got no real chance, but I will always remember my friends and I hearing "The Warrior" in the mid-80's all over the place.

We used to be into breakdancing, like everyone else at the time, I believe. We'd go looking for radio stations that played songs like "Jam on It" & "Freakazoid", and such. We called it breakdancing music, but these days I hear people refer to it as "electro-rap" whatever the heck that is.

Anyway, for some reason the stations we found always threw in "The Warrior". For the life of me, I'll never know why. We used to hear it on other stations as well, between stuff like Culture Club, Van Halen, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, whatever was big around 83, 84, 85 and such.

I prefer Patty Smyth to Patti Smith. Smyth has a bolder voice and is a hell of a lot cuter-looking to boot. I prefer Patty's work with Scandal to her solo work. The solo material is too adult contemporary for my tastes. I don't think she has a case for an induction, but nothing will ever stop me from enjoying Patty Smyth's years with Scandal.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
