They had a HUGE infuence on a whole generation of teens and kids... You can still hear their influence in modern teen pop, and they spawned Justin Timberlake... Yes *N'Sync deserves to be included in the hall of fame... Along with the Backstreet Boys.

There are dozens of non rock&roll artists in the hall, and *//\\//sync can, should and will be inducted. They absolutely deserve it they are the greatest vocal band of all time. They are NOT "just some queers that lasted a few years". You make fun of them yet they're more talented vocally than even the beatles, as well as the monkees and BSB. *NSYNC were undoubtedly all around phenomenal. Someone like the Beatles are HUGE and more successful than *NSYNC but not more talented. Beatles weren't vocally capable singers, NSYNC was and still are. Talent trumps success, just look at one direction. They're HUGE but we all know they're trash. That's not the case with *Nsync and BSB. NSYNC deserve it just as much as beastie boys, Run Dmc, michael Jackson and countless others. They lead an entire generation and hold the record for not one but two albums (NSA/Celebrity) for first day and first week sales. Their tours did amazingly well and they were always the main event at award shows even when they just came out. Nowadays it's chris brown who everyone looks forward to perform. BSB used to be considered like the second coming of the Beatles (so was *Nsync), thing is they both started over seas in Germany where BSB had multiple albums out and they were HUGE. NSYNC comes along with only two singles (I want you back/tearin up my heart) and they're the biggest act over there in multiple countries with only two songs. Back then, that meant something because in those days almost ever artist were considered amazing talent unlike today. NSYNC are and always will be AMAZINGLY. They'll be inducted in no time and I can't wait.

LOL @Brenden Actually bud, it's the other way around. BSB are the ones who were/are recognized for their tight harmonies and vocals. That has always distinguished them from 'N Sync. What distinguished 'N Sync was their dancing. It was NOT their vocals or harmonies. lol To this day, BSB are noted for their polyphonic harmonies. 'N Sync's songs were terrible. If you listen to them now, they sound so dated and stuck in the 90's. Vocals were not what 'N Sync was noted for, dude. That was/is BSB. Always has been.

Bottom line: neither of them belong in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. lmao

You are off by one year. Their debut album was 1997, making them eligible in 2022.
