This Band had it all. Great Guitars, Catchy lyrics and a great live show. Pure Rock and Roll I hope they get some consideration someday

If they ever are inducted--or even nominated--it will be a long time from now. The 80s AOR bands in front of them--Journey, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Foreigner, Loverboy, Kansas, ad infinitum--are too numerous and more deserving than Night Ranger.

As good as their singing, playing, and songs were, they were ultimately more derivative than original. That does not bode well.

Rock & Roll Jeopardy
Category: If They Collaborated

If Night Ranger and Bob Welch collaborated, it would be called...

What is "Sentimental Street Lady"

When they first came out with Dont Tell Me You Love Me I thought wow. Great rockin song, vocals and guitars. But that was their best song. I know their known for Sister, but this band had all the talent to be another Van Halen type American rock band. Dawn Patrol was a great record, but they lost their edge after that.

When bud light "real american heros" radio commercials chose a derivative 80's music production style to mock, they chose Night Rangers "sister christian"..for a reason. If you are looking for any kind of innovation or non mocking lasting influence from the 80's you need to steer clear of this.

Sister Christian was a Classic Song. Don't see how Night Ranger would break through the current RRHOF logjam of bands waiting...Chicago,Deep Purple,The Cure, Duran Duran, Judas Priest, Moody Blues just to name a few. They played good hard rock I don't know anything they did was innovative. Will say NO to RRHOF induction. KING

Sister Christian is a horrifying piece of pap. Don't Tell Me You Love Me and You Can Still Rock In America are so much better. But also a big no to them for the Hall.

Loverboy ahead of Night Ranger for consideration? That someone could actually type that is sad.

That anyone could seriously consider Night Ranger for induction is also sad.

Night Ranger is absolutely the epitome of 80's rock greatness. A blend of amazing guitars,keyboard,front-line vocals as the well as one of the most talented singing drummers in rock history. Tremendous high energy live shows with the crowd singing every under-rated hit. They without a doubt should one day go into the RRHOF.
