I just wanna point out that Neneh Cherry has gotten more "yes" votes than Buffalo Tom. It's justified, really, because Buffalo Tom is just that, but Neneh Cherry always hangs in a buffalo stance! PWNED or something!

The thought of seeing "Buffalo Stance" performed at an induction ceremony warms my heart, but really, come on. Not a chance in hell. Neneh Cherry was a one-hit wonder in America, and her genre is hip-hop/R&B - all things working against her.

Yes but her "one hit" Had a Huge influence on todays genre benders... How fitting it is that the year she's eligible for Nomination is the year that her first album in 20 years... I say Neneh Cherry should be in the hall... Ps: the only reason she did not have more hits was cause she was so far ahead of her time.

I agree. Neneh was always way ahead of her time.
Her albums are great. I'm especially fond of "Homebrew" - and her latest "Blank Project" is dark and raw. Really interesting stuff.

"Blank Project" is in my top 5 of best 2014 albums (thus far).

I'd love to see her live.
