Nelly Furtado became a staple name in the 2000s thanks to her debut Whoa Nelly!, the roots-oriented Folklore, and the sexy Loose. Unfortunately, Nelly decided to step away from the music industry in the 2010s as her two albums released during that decade did not match the same commercial success as her 3 albums.

I hope Nelly makes a huge comeback in the 2020s and I know that she sort of regrets the sexy image she adopted for Loose during that time. Fast forward to the 2010s and TikTok/Instagram, rap, and twerking took over, and we as a society sort of downgraded to that level.

Loose is a sexy album and unlike other performers especially in rap like Cardi B for example and WAP, Nelly was and is never vulgar, especially in her music/image.
