Anyone who truly knows music would say no question - A Rock & Roll Band that never stopped playing live, never stopped writing killer songs and never stopped being true to their own brand. The rock hall should be honored to have such a group in the hall. But unfortunately, the rock hall is a commercial venture rewarding commercial success and can't see beyond its own near-sightedness.

Pure spectrum song writing, from country honk, sweet love songs, some of the greatest car driving songs, rockabilly classics, essential covers, and totally manic originality in both studio- and live-produced "product"!

As for front musicianship on a (typically) 4-man combo, an amazing rhythm section is such a huge understatement, when competing with the talents of the keys and guitar licks.

Here comes Terry,
here comes Al,
here comes Joey,
here comes Tom...

NRBQ's gift to Rock music starts with their Roll. They are fractured royalty, and deserve to be celebrated as such. it's already too late, RIP, Tom Ardolino.

This is the lineup that should be inducted unanimously. Other long-time bandmates can be included like the Beach Boys or countless other groups that have so many people happy for so long by doing what they've been destined to do. Carl Ephin Perkins would agree, etc., etc.

Excluding NRBQ from the R & RHOF is nothing short of criminal. As far as I am concerned, they are the greatest band of all time.

They are rock and roll, real, honest to God rock and roll. In fact, they should be the soundtrack to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Leaving them out is a sin!

Anyone who's been fortunate enough to see NRBQ live knows the answer is unequivocally YES!

Without a doubt the best bar band ever. Never understood why they didn't have greater appeal internationally. Great tunes, great musicians, and terrific people with big personalities. If I had to live my life over I would have loved to have managed their careers. Why were they loved on the east coast and Nashville yet not acclaimed nationally. It's a musical travesty and always been a real head scratcher. Every time they took the stage they made magic. NRBQ with Terry, Joey, Al and Tom were the best. Love you guys. Tom RIP. You guys are in my Hall of Fame. Not including you in the Rocknroll hall makes it the rocknroll hall of shame.

Roy B *and* Johnny Winter both ignored? That's a travesty...
