Mother's Finest was the first integrated band I ever saw live. They were wedged in between the opening act and the headliner. I had never heard them until that night. In the 45 minutes, they were on stage, I was hooked on them. They stole the freaking show. And the next day as I talked to friends I knew who were also there, it was clear many of them were hooked too. One helluva show. Do they belong in the R&R HOF? Damn straight they do.

Mother's Finest should definitely be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!

They influenced the likes of "Living Colour", and "The Family Stand"!

They've shown us how to do it!

Although I like their music, I think they are marginal for RRHOF. Many rock and rnb acts are more influential than them. If you want to induct a funk-rock act, you should induct WAR first.
