Will Mighty Mighty Bosstones be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

They deserve to be in there because for the most part the invented and made popular 3-tone ska.

The also built up the underground punk/ska scene during the eighties for it's eventual explosion in the late 90's.

They invented the kind of music my band and many others play to this day- SKA-CORE! and all those bands in that genre will admit they had a HUGE influence on them. Without MMB, the Boston scene and scenes all over the world would be very different- in a bad way. They deserve some recognition for all their hard work and dedication to the world of music.

Although I am a rather big fan of the Bosstones and agree that their sound is original and influential (particularly on ska, an unfortunately and somewhat inexplicably underground phenomenon), I have a hard time believing that they'll be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; the Bosstones simply never had the mainstream popularity or critical acclaim that most of the HoF's inductees have and I think that may cost them dearly. I wouldn't rule anything out, though: for example, if Sublime were to make it in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, then I don't see any reason why the Bosstones wouldn't.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
