Mick Ronson’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is long overdue.

Read his wiki writeup. Seems like he would be a fine sideman inductee. It appears he has not been inducted in our Rock Hall Projected project.

Mick Ronson was part of our Class of ‘98! I agree, of the more important omissions in the real Hall.

RRHF forgets who helped with the early funding . Mick & Ian Hunter did benefit gig for it . Apart from the more obvious reasons that he should be in .

Leave Bowie out and induct his compliment as a whole. The Spiders From Mars. Ronno, Trevor, and Woodsey.

listen to the music Bowie was making prior to Mick joining up with him... froo the first minute Micks guitar played alongside Bowies lyrics, rock and roll history was made.
Mick put the raunch, the beat the sound behind Ziggy Stardust.... He was Ziggy in every sense of the word, except it wasn't the 'kids who killed the man', it was Bowies disloyalty and greed.
Bowie stole Micks talent ands plagurised it as his own.... imagine Ziggy stardust without Micks input... Listen to Sufferagete City without Micks guitar Imagine Life on Mars without the memorable piano and solo....
Everything that was David Bowie in those early years was down to Mick.. he co-wrote the songs, provided arrangment and then put the sound that became David Bowie into the music
It has been a complete crime that Mick has been left out of the hall of fame, how many inducted artists are in the Hall of fame because they were inspired by Bowies early music qnd the Mick Ronson sound artists like Slash, and Steve Vai have both stated that Ronsons music and guitar style inspired them
Mick is long, long, LONG, overdue being inducted to the Hall of Fame... How many bands would we not have had, had we not had the Valuable arrangments and music Mick Ronson supplied to the Music industry...
Its Time That quiet Man from Hull got his true deserves

Hi all. What's the status of enrolling Mick Ronson into the R & R Hall of Fame?
Unsung music heroes like Mick must be given their credit and not passed over due the bigger names having taken their glory.
Mick did loads of work with Dylan and also Lou Reed as well (Perfect Day wasn't it...?). I've heard he reworked Jack and Diane as well to make it a success.
Credit where credit is long overdue folks.
