Will Meshuggah be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

I just saw a "No" vote for Meshuggah, which led me to think, who or what is "Meshuggah?" I have never heard of such a cryptic name and it almost sounds cave manesque to me. Is this a pre-historic band of neanderthals who were transported from the past to the present thanks to a rift in the space-time continuum?

I'm disappointed, I figured the Cheesecropper would have something entertaining to say about Meshuggah

So you've heard of them, Milestones?

Oh no, I haven't. Maybe "Meshuggah" is a pagan druidic cult chant?

Hmm. Looks like I'm going to ruin the fun. Turns out they're an "alternative" metal band. So much for druids and neanderthals!!

Meshuggah are a metal band from Sweden. They are innovative with their complicated sound and the difficult time signatures they use, and they at least influenced the mighty Porcupine Tree when Steven Wilson decided he wanted to go into a heavier direction. I doubt they'll get inducted though.

They are awesome! They've inspiring metal musicians worldwide for years!

But sadly their underground icon status may work against their chances! :(

Definitely not, though I wouldn't be opposed to Jens Kidman's GORGHUGH face getting inducted as a solo act.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
