Prior to Van Lear Rose, there was not much chance for induction, but now maybe she has an outside shot. Jack White would surely be the one to induct her.

Loretta may well be the greatest female country artist of all time, but it would be ridiculous to have her in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course the people who do the voting are certifiable fools.

LORETTA LYNN is one of the most infulential women in the history of American music. She has inspired generations of artsis that have followed her footsteps. The first woman in American music history to chart 50 top 10 hits, first living entertainer to have a major motion picture made of thier life, over 100 albums recoded, the most awarded lady in country music history. Last year she marked her 50th anniversary in country music and is still touring & recording. She has more than earned her place in the Roick & Roll Hall of Fame in the infulence category. She is the "Queen of Country Music."

Loretta's influence goes well beyond the boarders of Country Music. Countless performers have said Loretta was a,major influence in career. Jack White, Sheryl Crow,Hailey Williams, Elvis Costello, etc. Her songwriting style paved the way. Many of her hits were banned from radio. The Pill, Rated X. Coal Miners Daughter the movie attracted people who would never listen to country. So I would say yes LORETTA LYNN DESERVES TO BE IN ROCK IN ROLL H.O.F!

As Loretta was featured in the "Women Who Rock" exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shows that she should be nominated and elected into the hall.
