STRIKE LIKE LIGHTNING is probably a top 50 album.
"Too rock for country. too country for rock and roll" sums it up

Ask Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmie Vaughn,
Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards who created Blues Rock guitar and Jimmie will also tell you that Lonnie was Stevie Ray's idol.
I actually have.
Lonnie Mack's song WHAM is where the whammy bar got its name!
Rock and Roll hall of fame must be ran by morons.

I watched on TV, the history of Rock & Roll. There were several guitar gurus like Clapton , Richards, Jimmy & Stevie Ray Vaughn& a couple of other who are R&R Hall of Fame members. They were asked who were their idols when they started playing. Elvis Presley was the one most named. But, unsurprising to me, Lonnie Mack was in the top 5 it 6. How do you not include him with that kind of recognition?

Lonnie Mack deserves to be in the Hall. Nobody sounded like him. He was such an influence to a lot of great guitarist. Stevie Ray Vaughn for one. Lets get him in.

While most other guitarists were plunking away in the late 50s and early 60s, Lonnie Mack was kickin' it with Memphis, Wham and Baby What's Wrong! He also had a stellar rock and blues voice! If SRV recognized his brilliance, the stupid RRHOV, should pull their collective heads out of their collective asses and vote this guitar pioneer into the Hall!

Lonnie Mack I really don't understand how a man that was so so influential with so many rockers that are in the hall of fame.when Lonnie came on the scene nobody herd guitar playing like that before and that's why he influenced them all and they all admit it.Please Reconcider

Was just introduced to Lonnie Mack a few years ago. Having heard his music, I can't believe he is not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! He's the best!

MY FATHER REALLY DESERVES TO BE INDUCTED WITH LINK WRAY. THEY ARE THE TRUE INVENTORS OF ROCK AND ROLL. HE HAS CONTRIBUTED SO MUCH TO MUSIC AND PUBLISHING IN THE PUBLISHING WORLD MUSIC ROW ELECTRA RECORDS. MANY PEOPLE HE DISCOVERED AND HELP GET THEIR CAREERS LIKE CAROLE KING IGGY POP AND MANY MORE WILL ABSOLUTELY GO ON RECORD WITH WHAT IM SAYING. WHEN MY FATHER WAS A LITTLE BOY IT WAS HIS DREAM TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME. DONT YOU THINK IT'S TIME HAS COME? EVERYONE ELSE DOES, SO IM ASKING YOU GUYS UP THERE IN MY FAVORITE STATE, NY, PUT LONNIE MACK IN WITH LINK WRAY. ILL BRING HIS GUITAR AND DO WHATEVER NECESSARY TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. THANKS.
