Buckingham's solo work has not gotten the attention it deserves. He was the genuius behind (more accurately, in front of) Fleetwood Mac's sound, sure... but his solo work deserves its own recognition. He is an excellent songwriter and an amazing musician and producer. While Buckingham Nicks was a one-album deal, both he and Stevie Nicks deserve their own inductions as solo artists.

Lindsey Buckingham is the sound of my generation. He was the driving force behind Fleetwood Mac. More importantly, his solo career has produced some of the most awesome music since he began. He has 6 solo albums, I believe. I saw him in Jacksonville at The Florida Theatre on 10/3/11 (his 62nd birthday). What an incredible evening it was. If Lindsey doesn't deserve a place in the R&R Hall of Fame, then no one does.
