Lenny Kravitz is an original, outstanding artist, musician, songwriter. His performances are an experience one should have, he and the musicians in his bands are the peak of perfection. His song writing and songs are inspiring and uplifting and soulful. He performs most or all of the music on his CD's or LP's. He should be number one to be inducted to the R&R Hall of Fame. He is up there with John Lennon, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye. Simply the best. Let Love Rule.

There has never been an artist who has shined a Light on love and God 's love for us combined with funk, rock, ang grooves like no other. For mainstream,pop/rock to encompass all of those genres is certainly innovative to me. Lenny has been fearless in sharing his perception of peace and balance since he first arrived in the music world. If more people truly listened to his message, there would be more loving and less fearing going on in the world. Good luck, Lenny! To our fans, you're already there <3 Let Love Rule

I say yes, he deserves to be in the RARHOF! His music covers so many genres ROCK, funk, blues, and soul just to name a few. I can imagine if there is a reason he is not inducted is because he does NOT fit into a box. When his music first came out, people did in America didn't get it which is why he was first sent to Europe to tour on his first album Let Love Rule. I feel his music has had a great influence on the lives of his fans, and I am sure for up and coming musicians. His music has changed my life with his message of love. He plays all his instruments, writes his own songs, and there is nothing like seeing him live! He is a master of the guitar. Plus he has collaborated with many other artists. The man still has it and the best it yet to come from him!

Lenny Kravitz produced classic rock songs of the 1990's. Lenny should be in the RRHOF, because you continually hear his music in bars, restaurants, shops, and on the radio. His music is still present in people's lives. You hear "American Woman", "Are You Gonna Go My Way" and "Fly Away" often to this day.

Lenny has consistently performed 25+ years with large and small concert settings. ABBA got inducted in 2010, and they only performed from 1972-1982. Granted, that group has become popular again thanks to the musical "Mamma Mia!"

He has branched out in other avenues of entertainment by acting and owning an interior design firm. He is a rock star and should be recognized as an important artist in the music industry.

Lenny Kravitz has a real chance to make it to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. There should be a real doughnut hole around 2020-2025 where many of the late 90's artists haven't dominated like a Nirvana,Pearl Jam,Green Day etc.

He's an incredible songwriter & performer. Those hits like Are You Gonna Go My Way? Let Love Rule ,Heaven Help,Fly Away,ec. are Classics. 1 more smash CD should put him closer to induction. You never know though ...I thought bands like Bon Jovi,Chicago,Duran Duran, & Scorpions would be in years ago. KING

Althougt I am not an "official" music "expert", I am a music lover, concert goer, and album buyer; which makes me an expert. Lenny has a distinctive-sexy voice, good-sound and beat. It makes me feel good, happy, sad or whatever emotion he is trying to convey or I INTERPRET from it. I believe that is what music is supposed to do. Therefore, Lenny is worthy to be inducted. Truman Capote said the Stones stunk and wouldn't last more than 3 years. Some just do no have an ear for music.

Should get in soon! He should not have to wait. Jimmy Hendrix influential style!!!

Best Male Rock Vocal Performance a record-setting four years in a row, yeah that alone should get him in someday.

And he plays seven different instruments while performing ten different genres. Who else can say that today, other than Prince?

Lenny Kravitz has had the longevity that some artists already in haven't had. He has 10 albums NWA has only 2 and are in. Although maybe his albums might not have been innovative enough with a lot of filler. But if you take his singles from those albums that's a large body of work that is very worthy. Besides he still performs at a high level. ThE fact that he is not already in is baffling. Hopefully they wait til he is no longer with us to put him in. I think he would kickass performing there.

No matter what, Lenny has continually performed live to large crowds and never disappoints. His music is played often in bars, shops, and on the radio. Listen to American Woman, Believe, and Mr. Cab Driver on UTube. They are only 3 songs that I think of regularly and enjoy! Lenny is also an inclusive artist that sings of love. I have seen him 6 times, and Rock-N-Roll lives on within him.

Went to The Hangout one year & had a great condo right behind the main stage. Was looking out at it Friday morn & noticed this large teepee setup on beach near water behind the main stage. Turned out it was Lenny's. At the time, that was what he would stay in when he played at a fest.

Awesome guitar player.

People who dismiss Kravitz as merely a rock revivalist or interpreter have clearly not followed his career over the past 30 years. Sure, he emulates his influences to some degree, but he's also clearly carved out his own path. He's managed to maintain 30-year career with few hiccups, selling millions of records, winning Grammy awards, and keeping his integrity intact.

He plays numerous instruments, produces his own records, and writes his own songs. Plus, he's as relevant today as we was when he released "Let Love Rule". Read his book, and you'll quickly discover why he belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Anyone who doesn't think he belongs there hasn't been listening to his music or following career at all.

Lenny Kravitz influenced an entire generation...being true to one self...he definitely needs to be remembered as a legendary rock influence and be put in the Hall of Fame. Whether it's all the instrument he can play... writing his own songs...his sound is one you know as soon as you hear him....being around for so long....his stlye is one of a kind. I'm glad he is still around to influence rock!

Where is the rush on his induction?

I'm really wondering why he's not already in the rock and roll hall of fame. He deserves to be recognized for his accomplishments and talent. Put him in he deserves it.

Lenny's candidacy is considerably weaker compared to Sheryl Crow's. Sheryl Crow has at least influenced artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo (in songwriting), and has somewhat impacted St. Vincent and other indie female acts—not necessarily in songwriting, but in attitudes and artistic imagery. What genre has Lenny influenced, or which major acts have been primarily influenced by Lenny? While it's true that black rock has long been overlooked, and he represents black rock musicians, his influence is even less significant than Sheryl Crow's. We can expect some songs that were once popular but are now somewhat outdated from him, and his influence doesn't match that of Sheryl Crow.

Ehh. St. Vincent is more influenced by Kate Bush than Sheryl because of the weird, artsy personality in her music. I see Sheryl influencing the likes of Taylor, Olivia, Phoebe, Madison Cunningham, Soccer Mommy. The types that are more safe than adventurous even though I like Phoebe and Boygenius.

As for Lenny, he might as well be the Sheryl Crow of the 2024 class because he's beloved by the industry insiders, but not much of a critical darling. Same with Oasis. Critics never gave them any love. It'll be interesting how the voting will play out later this month and in March when voters will brag who they voted for on social media.

I'm not a rock critic, just a fan, and have been a fan of Lenny Kravitz since the Let Love Rule album hit my radar in 1989. His style is truly unique and he's an incredible live performer. Surprised he's not already in the RRHofF ... so deserving. Hope this is his year!
