You know, there is a saying, if the club does not want me in it, why should I want to be? Thanks for all the support from so many of you, I love that, and on the surface, since I am both folk rock and art singer, perhaps I could slip into one of the slots for oddball artists-=but really, if they don't want you, why should you want them?
I am with Letterman, when he complains that the great Paul Schaeffer has never made it into the R&R Hall of Fame--now, being a great fan of Paul's and that amazing band, I am shocked and awed that they are not there. Me? Well, life is long, they say. And full of surprises. God Bless You all. Judy Collins

Judy Collins is a ROLE MODEL Princess (Leader!) for current and future generations, hands down! Judy’s voice and talent is timeless and genius – a gift from God! Judy doesn’t just simply sing, she plays the piano, guitar, keyboards expertly – while singing most beautifully. To this day and with passion . . . Judy authors books, writes, composes and arranges music, gives speeches, tours nonstop as if she were 25 years old! Judy does all of this with intellect and grace. I look for her concerts locally every year. When Judy performs at Wolf Trap – it’s a summer highlight indeed! I have a vision, which is that I would love to see a future “Tour” with three great legends -- Judy Collins, Neil Diamond, and Barbara Streisand. I encourage these three to become friends and tour together, as it would be awesome. With the music they have written and sung – including songs of the same title – their tour could be called something to the effect -- “Love and Life” tour. Some songs could be a “twin-spin” with Judy and Neil singing, say for example, “Suzanne”. Barbra and Judy could sing “Memory”. All three could sing together – “Amazing Grace” -- . . . and so on. I hope these three awesome legendary talents collaborate and strut their stuff. What a gift to the world that “Threesome Tour” would be. Heck, look at how three musicians -- Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Luke Bryan good-naturedly sang at the Country Music Awards 2012 – “Only Way I Know” – and wow’d the world. You will have dropped the ball if you delay inducting Judy Collins into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Chop chop -- Time is a ticking . . .

Deanna I'm sure that tour as well as all those specific songs will happen once you loose your virginity.

Mikhail - What a pity. Ego surpasses great vision. Mr. Know-It-All with Snotty Nose Snide Remarks – If people (including musicians) in fact embrace an attitude such as yours, then it stands to reason that this world has more despicable egotistical people than decent ones. BTW, Sweet Judy Blue Eyes is a child of Woodstock and sang on rock n’ roll radio stations a few decades ago. Remember? Judy is a diverse musician who has sung songs of Dylan and other famous rockers. If RRHF doesn’t induct JC, then what good are they, really?

My personal favorite Judy Collin's song is Farewell to Tarwaithe. It was the first time many of us had heard actual whale song. The song had a profound impact on the way we viewed nature and the effect of our actions on animals and the environment.

With Leonard Cohen and Joan Baez in

I cannot believe that Judy Collins has not been inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame.
She is a multi talented artist, and has been for many decades.
At 82 she can still woo an audience with her sense of humor and angelic voice.
Such a shame for her not to be acknowledged.
I believe the time has come.
