Dunno why he's called the French Elvis... his voice sounds more like Tom Jones.

He deserves to be in. If you can induct gangster rappers then I would say you can induct him.

He's been previously considered, yet he was called "The French Elvis" and hardly sang in English. Wouldn't considering/inducting a non-native English singer who didn't have much impact in the English speaking world be opening up a can of worms?

He is a marvelous performer with a large and relevant body of work and a passionate fan base. His failure to be inducted represents a cultural bias which is unfortunate. He really belongs.
