A musicians musician! Probably the best songwriter of the last 25 years. EVERYONE does a John Hiatt song. And the average person probably doesn't realize that one song they really love is actually a John Hiatt song.

Very influential singer/songwriter. He songs have been covered by many. Including musicians that are already in the RRHOF. B.B.King, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, and Bob Dylan.

Actually Bonnie Raitt is an interesting comparison in this case... anyways, I'd have no problem with Hiatt in the Hall.

Right you are Chalkie, since her was the author of her big hit "Thing Called Love". I would agree as well with the above comments one of the best singer songwriters of the past 25 at least..should be a shoe in.
