Inducting the Ventures

John Fogerty is already in the HoF right where he should be, since he pretty much WAS CCR.

John Fogertys solo career does not warrant seperate induction, it's as simple as that. There are exceptions, (Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, John Lennon) you get the picture.......His Creedence work is sufficient enough.

Fogerty's voice and guitar playing are some of the definitive sounds of rock 'n' roll. The CCR induction was well deserved, but while his solo career has been relatively sparse (only 7 studio albums in about 35 years), it certainly still has merit. There are a number of multiple inductees who are not in Fogerty's league when it comes to rock 'n' roll which is, after all , what the Hall is supposed to be about. Solo songs like Rocking All Over The World, Centerfield, The Old Man Down The Road and many more show that there is more to his game than CCR. His latest album 'Revival' might help his cause a bit.

Exactly, If it wasn't for the 1985 album Centrefield I'd say No buy the album and some of his more recent work make him worthy of an induction as a solo artist.

He definitly deserves a solo induction. His solo stuff proves there is more to him then just CCR ( has opposed to say, Brian Wilson, whose solo stuff wasn't very good)

Album like "Centerfield" and "Revival" and songs like "Rock and Roll Girls" "The Old Man Down the Road" "Big Train From Memphis" and "Mr. Greed" how can you say no?
