Let's see.....

-Greatest guitar player in the 21st century (so far)
-Put's truckloads full of emotion in his singing and guitar playing
-Major influence in most up and coming blues performers
-Have released a bunch of well-acclaimed albums
-Recently sold out Royal Albert Hall and played with Eric Clapton, and even he admires Bonamassa

Should be a definite, except for the fact that NO ONE CARES ABOUT BLUES MUSIC ANYMORE!

His albums don't sell in North America, very few people actually know who he is, and he's a genre that no one is willing to care about because there's no synth, auto-tune or emo teenage angst in it.

However, he is slowly gaining a fanbase with every release, and if he keeps on doing his thing, eventually the masses will catch up to him.

He's a good player, but I don't think he has surpassed a lot of the players that came before him. Anointing him "the greatest player of the 21st century" is kind of a stretch, since a lot of great players from the 20th are still around, exploring new horizons. I'm not sure you can say he's been influential...yet.

Very good player, though. He should be around a while...the blues aren't dead yet (as a matter of fact, the blues still has a pretty good pulse).

I'm not even a R&R fan, nor a frequent jazz or blues listener, but I wouldn't miss this incredible artist and performer.

Joe B. is an amazing entertainer. I recently saw him live for the first time, it won't be the last. He quite literally beat the heck out his guitars for over 2 hours non stop. To thoroughly appreciate Joe you need to see him in concert. Worth every penny and then some. Add Beth Hart to the mix……WOW……...

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
