Jennifer Lopez's musical career is the equivalent of a used-up condom. She's a fart in a mitten and the smell just won't go away.

She's terrible in every sense of the word. She's not musically inclined and her vocal abilities are questionable.

She has a better chance of opening a Puerto Rican taco stand than ever seeing a nomination attached to her name. She is what's wrong with the music industry and what true artists should not aspire to be.

If the apocalypse was to strike, and the world had to vote on whether or not to let Jennifer Lopez into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in order to save the human kind, I would would vote NO. I rather die of hunger and in burn in flames than to witness such atrocity towards humanity.

Ehh. I mean I guess if we're just looking at her stage presence and the impact she's had overall in pop culture, than maybe. But if we're looking at an induction based on her musical contributions than probably not. Most of the songs that she "recorded" in the early 2000s when she experienced her biggest commercial success, we're mostly sung by other women that were in the background. Ashanti and Christina Milian were the real singers from that era that carried her. JLO pretty much just hijacked their demos and did the bare minimum over the top of their vocals. Do I see her being inducted eventually? Yes because her name alone will attract people to pay attention to that years class. The academy tends to go for bigger names over talent at times. They've expanded their range for better or worse over the years to include non rock artists. Does she deserve it based on her musical abilities? No because she's always done the bare minimum outside of putting on a show with her dancing.

Tom Jones. No not in hall of fame. Big voice all real for forty years packed audiences.
Sang his own , Wilson Pickett
James Browne, but got live shows with three generations.
