don't worry, he's already in with the Stooges (:

but it would be neat if he were to be inducted as a solo artist, that 77 stuff was the real deal

he's the godfather of punk after all

Stooges of course no doubter, thnx HOF. Iggy solo The Idiot and Lust for Life were surprisingly great and spun off into many lifetimes of their own volition, esp. The Passenger. Don't know if HOF could handle reprise of his Stooges induction show. Or their performance in support of Madonna's induction... brilliant.

Definitely Yes! The man is a giant of music.
He's written wonderful lyrics both for the Stooges and solo. Just think of " Search and Destroy", "Open up and Bleed", "Passenger", "China Girl", "Lust for Life" and many more.
He's a terrific singer and the the GREATEST PERFORMER in the history of rock.
